The 40-year-old TV star has put her name in the hat to become the lead spy in the James Bond franchise when Daniel Craig steps down following the release of 'No Time To Die' in September.
Speaking on 'The Gemma Collins Podcast', she said: “I’d love to do a particular job that’s all about keeping secrets. Namely being an international super spy.
"This would be my dream job. I am constantly obsessed with watching action movies and I can see myself being the first female Bond. A plus size girl! An Essex girl! The name is Bond, Gemma Bond. It’s got a lovely ring to it."
Gemma has already thought about how she would play the spy, but she wouldn't change much about the character as she loves the films.
She added: “Now what things would I change if I was a female Bond? Well ... I quite like the films so I wouldn’t change much. I wouldn’t put on a fancy accent. I'd talk how I talk, it’d be absolutely fabulous. I’ve got a licence to thrill baby!”
Daniel Craig, 59, who has played the part of Bond since 2006, recently revealed the forthcoming 25th film in the franchise will be his last as he believes "someone else should have a go".
A number of stars have been rumoured to take on the iconic role, including 'Bodyguard' actor Richard Madden and 'Bridgerton' star Rege-Jean Page.
Richard thought the rumours were "very flattering".
He said: "Look, it's very flattering to be involved in that conversation. There are some films to be made, so who knows what will happen in the future."
