Gemma Collins is using candles at home to help offset the rising cost of living.
The 41-year-old TV star is rumoured to be worth millions, but Gemma is still feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis.
She shared: "I might be the GC but I am even in the cost of living crisis. I am literally turning all my lights off. It’s not a joke."
Gemma is concerned about the potential impact of the ongoing crisis.
However, she's also determined to enjoy Christmas, saying it'll be a particularly "special" day this year.
The reality star told The Sun newspaper: "When I am watching the news and see people losing their houses and freezing cold. This is serious.
"I am really trying to do my bit this year. That is why Christmas is going to be so special because we are all sort of up against it and f*** presents."
Meanwhile, Gemma recently revealed that she was left feeling "shocked and embarrassed" when her bank accounts were frozen.
The outspoken star revealed that her assets were cut off and she "cried on the phone" to the bank when she was trying to buy a property in 2020.
Gemma - who shot to fame on 'The Only Way Is Essex' - said: "This happened to me two years ago. The shock, the embarrassment, I couldn't sleep, I felt sick, I felt like I was dodgy, like ‘am I a criminal?'
"You know what, the guy at the end of the phone, I was so distressed, I was crying on the phone, I was saying, 'I’m going to lose my house, I’m going to lose my house.' They are reading from a script, no emotion, telling you, ‘Go into the branch.'"
