Gemma Collins breaks down in tears on Sunday's (03.05.20) episode of 'Diva On Lockdown'.
The 39-year-old reality TV star is finding it difficult to be separated from her parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic and burst into tears after a phone call with her mum Joan, 65.
In scenes filmed in April, she said: "Oh, I miss my mum! What is she doing? I won't see her over Easter. I know that she's missing us and it's the same for a lot of people...'
"It's just so weird with everything that's going on. A another further 831 people have died, too early to lift the COVID lockdown and I just hope that people this weekend...'
"It's just upset me seeing my mum, because I know she's in the garden and she could have been with us out there."
However, Gemma acknowledged that she is fortunate that none of her family have been affected by the virus.
She said: "I am one of the fortunate ones. I haven't died, my family haven't died. It's really scary, so yeah."
In March, Gemma was forced to miss her mum and dad's wedding anniversary celebrations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The star was unable to spend the special day with her parents due to the ongoing lockdown in the UK, and so Gemma instead posted a loving message on her Instagram account.
Gemma wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "42 YEARS MARRIED today HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the best parents anyone could ever ask for
"you have given us the best life and showed us what love and marriage is about and that is RESPECT
"for richer for poorer in sickness and in health
"we love you so much and THANK YOU for teaching us everything you have in life and that's to WORK HARD and APPRECIATE everything .... in recent events re the media please spend more time with your family's (sic)"
