Gemma Collins isn't nervous about stripping off for 'Splash!'
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star isn't fazed by the idea of flaunting her size 20 curves in a swimsuit on the ITV show, and insists her priority is perfecting her diving skills under the watchful eye of Olympic bronze medallist diver Tom Daly.
The bubbly blonde said: "I haven't even thought about it - that isn't my priority. I'm in it to win it! I've designed my own swimming costumes and they're going to look amazing."
Gemma has learnt that it's more important to be confident than worrying about her looks, and says she would never go down the same route as some of her 'TOWIE' co-stars and get surgery.
She said: "I don't care if I'm beautiful or not. I don't measure life or success by beauty or size ... I don't think fake boobs or fake lips are attractive."
The fun-loving star slimmed down to a size 14 in 2011, but she now describes the experience as "living hell" and would never go back to being that size again.
Speaking to Now! magazine, she reminisced: "It was a living hell. I'd feel guilty even having a cup of water. It was so ridiculous, in the end I thought, 'Sod it!' And I'm proof that all these fad diets don't work because you just end up putting even more weight on!"
'Splash!' returns to screens tonight (04.01.14) at 7.20PM.
