The 38-year-old actress - who gave birth to her son Thiago last month - has turned to Instagram to reveal the vile messages that she's received from some social media users in recent weeks.
After visiting her doctor to collect a cream, Gemma said on the photo-sharing platform: "I had an appointment to pick that up and I'm still in these [maternity] dresses because the scars [from childbirth] rub, so I looked like a bag of rags.
"My mum was pushing the pram because it's quite hilly where I live, I didn't want to overdo it up-hill.
"When I came out the doctors I was looking at the medication ingredients list on my phone to see if it would affect my breastfeeding and get in my bloodstream - you know what I'm like.
"Anyway, I get a lot of DMs, some are lovely, some of them aren't. I've already had one today saying Thiago shouldn't be in the sun.
"I've had another saying how lazy I was letting my mum push the pram. I got another saying 'you used to be fit and you're still fat.'"
Gemma previously revealed that her body has become "different" since became a mum.
The actress - who also has Mia, four, with Gorka Marquez - told Women's Health magazine: "My body doesn't look like it did before. It's changed after having a baby, but that made me more determined to do [the shoot] – my body is not better or worse, just different.
"Maybe it's important to show that to other women? ... I was always straight up and down, like a surfboard, but now I've got a bit of a waist. When I put on high-waisted jeans, you can see I've got hips. I reckon I'm about three percent J-Lo now, so I'm happy with that."
