Gemma Arterton had a 'Yakdonalds' burger while shooting in Nepal.
The 34-year-old actress was working in the country while she was filming for 'Black Narcissus', and she admitted she tried the "infamous" local dish.
Confirming she tried one of the burgers during an appearance on Thursday's episode (10.12.20) of ITV's 'This Morning', she laughed: "In Nepal, there's this famous, infamous 'Yakdonalds' restaurant.
"Because cows are sacred in Nepal, they don't eat cow beef, so they have yak instead. They make these kind of yak burgers and all of that."
The star plays Sister Clodagh in the new miniseries based on Rumer Godden's 1939 novel of the same name, which was turned into a feature film eight years later.
She loved her time in the country, even though she and her castmates had to battle "altitude sickness" during filming.
She added: "Everything about it was amazing! I was so in love with the place! It is really one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I've ever been.
"Of course, you're up very, very, very high so we had to deal with altitude sickness.
"All of that stuff is in the film, the nuns suffer with all of that so we got to experience that first hand. It was amazing, I'm so grateful I got to go there. It was really special."
Meanwhile, Gemma also reflected on her time working with the late Dame Diana Rigg on the series, who sadly died in September.
She said: "It was fantastic, it was everything I hoped it would be. I knew her a little bit because I'm friends with her daughter Rachael [Stirling], and so I'd met her before. So, we had this natural chemistry anyway.
"She was so fun loving, so witty - a little bit naughty, you know, that glint in her eye.
"I was so lucky to have worked with her and spent those two days with her. I have some wonderful photos of us pulling funny faces in our nuns habits. She was great."
