Gaynor Faye is set to star in 'Looking Good Dead'.
The 49-year-old actress - who played Megan Macey in 'Emmerdale' from 2012 to 2019 - will join 'EastEnders' actor Adam Woodyatt in the upcoming stage production of Peter James' best-selling novel.
Gaynor will play Kellie Bryce, whose life is at stake when her husband Tom (Adam) finds a USB stick on a train and inadvertently becomes a witness to a vicious murder.
Things become worse when Tom goes to the police, but Detective Superintendent Roy Grace intends to save the family while battling with his own demons.
The production is to open at the Leicester Curve on 1 July 2021.
Adam - who is best known for playing Ian Beale on 'EastEnders' - recently separated from his wife after 22 years of marriage, and he is now living "in a field in Devon" so he is ready to go on tour with the production.
He recently said: "I am loving my break, I’m having a ball.
"I’m getting ready for the tour which was supposed to have started in January, then it was supposed to start in April and then it was supposed to start in June - it keeps getting knocked back.
"But basically I’m in a motorhome. I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that. "But I’ve taken advantage of it and I’m currently in a field in Devon."
The veteran soap star is looking forward to the adventure and has been busy focusing on his upcoming role, but he is not excited about the amount of travelling he will have to do.
He added: "It's a cracking tour. My only complaint is seeing as I’m the driver of said motorhome … at one point we’ve got to go from Edinburgh to Brighton."
