Gary Lucy set to leave 'EastEnders' next month.
'EastEnders' star Gary Lucy - who plays Danny Pennant in the soap - will be leaving at the end of his current contact, and has already filmed his exit scenes.
The star - who plays bisexual character Danny Pennant - is said to have "already filmed his exit scenes" after his contract as a regular cast member hasn't been renewed.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Since he returned we've seen Danny scheme and lie while enjoying relationships with both girls and boys.
"Gary had come to the end of his contract and after some discussion it was decided to would leave at the end of the current one."
The 32-year-old actor first appeared on the soap in September 2012, leaving before the end of the year but then returning early last year as a full time member of the cast.
However, a spokesperson for the show has confirmed his exit but "wish him all the best".
They said: "We can confirm that Gary is leaving 'EastEnders' later this year and we wish him all the best for the future."
He follows a number of stars in leaving the soap, which recently saw the arrival of Danny Dyer as Mick Carter.
