Gabz says this year's 'X Factor' hopefuls should use their nerves as a tool to get further in the competition.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' finalist insists nerves are part of any performance and she always had butterflies when she took to the stage on the ITV talent show.
Gabz - full name Gabrielle Gardiner - insists it's up to 'The X Factor' wannabes to use that energy to their advantage.
When asked what advice she has for the acts, she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "They've got to stay true to themselves and also work really hard. It's good to have nerves before you go on. You have to use them in the right way - nerves can really help sometimes. When you start to perform that's when you calm down, really. When I'd get on stage on 'Britain's Got Talent' I'd feel a lot less nervous, especially when I would start singing."
Gabz has been watching 'The X Factor' - also devised by 'BGT' mastermind Simon Cowell - every week and admits her favourites are Rough Copy.
The 14-year-old musician - who releases her new single 'Lie There', which she performed on the 'BGT' final, on October 27 - revealed: "I like Sam [Callahan] and Rough Copy, but I think they're all really, really good this year. But those two are my favourites. I think Rough Copy are cool because they're really good singers but they can dance as well, which is really cool."
