Flora Sheddan has failed to make it to the final of 'The Great British Bake Off'.
The 19-year-old student became the ninth contestant to be eliminated from the baking competition in last night's (30.09.15) episode, meaning she narrowly missed out on next week's final.
She said: "I am gutted of course I am, but I feel very privileged to get this far."
'Bake Off' judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry decided to send Flora home after she failed to impress during Chocolate Week.
Despite winning the technical challenge with her chocolate souffle, Flora's passion fruit and chocolate tarts and 3D chocolate center piece challenge sealed her fate.
Speaking about her failure to make the final, Flora admitted: "There were moments when I did feel my age and that I was lacking a certain experience.
"In week five I didn't know what an Arctic Roll was until we got into the tent, but then I am only 19."
As Flora has now been sent home, remaining contestants Ian Cumming, Tamal Ray and Nadiya Hussain will now be competing for the 'Bake Off' crown in next week's final.
