Coming to Netflix later this year, original seven-part epic western series Godless will see Academy Award-winner Steven Soderbergh’s work come to life, with executive producer Casey Silver and Academy Award and Golden-Globe nominated screenwriter and director Scott Frank alongside him.

As the streaming service’s first ever original limited series, Godless has a lot of high expectations surrounding it, which only increase when you hear of the all-star cast involved, which includes Jeff Daniels, Michelle Dockery and Jack O’Connell.
Daniels plays notorious criminal Frank Griffin in the show, who leads a gang of outlaws on a mission of revenge against Roy Good (O’Connell); a protégé who betrayed the brotherhood. On the run, Roy finds refuge with widower Alice Fletcher (Dockery) in the worn-down mining town of La Belle. Governed mainly by women, the town bands together when they hear Griffin is headed their way, to defend against the murderous gang and to stop the isolated area from turning into a lawless western frontier.
