The Disney Channel new animated series DuckTales will be coming to fans later this year, with Broadchurch and former Doctor Who actor David Tennant stepping into the recording booth to take on the iconic role of Scrooge McDuck. Disney Channel have today released some first look images from the show, which also showcase Huey, Dewey and Louie, voiced by Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan respectively.
Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President of Programming and General Manager at Disney XD comments: “Fans around the world are eager and we’re looking forward to introducing viewers to the all-new DuckTales. This early season two order is a testament to the quality work the creative team, led by Matt and Frank, and the cast are delivering.”

Matt Youngberg serves as executive producer on the series, with Francisco Angones as story editor and co-producer, and Sean Jimenez as art director.
Kate Micucci voices Webby Vanderquack, with Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack and Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley.
Looking to recapture the original magic that make the DuckTales series such a staple of the Disney franchise, these first looks at the new series are very promising. We can’t wait to see the show in full later this year.
DuckTales will premiere in the UK on Disney Channel in late 2017.
