Fiona Wade is keen to enrol in a criminology course.
The 'Emmerdale' actress has a passion for the study of crime and deviant behaviour, so much so she would love to pursue her interest at some point and spend a day with forensic writers.
She said: "My hidden interest is criminology and forensics. I'm a bit of a geek with it.
"I watch lots of crime documentaries, such as Netflix's 'Unsolved Mysteries'. Human psychology really interests me.
"I'd love to do a course in criminology and spend a day with forensic writers.
"My husband [actor Simon Cotton] always buys me crime books as gifts."
And while Fiona has a big interest in criminology, she doesn't have a specific Plan B in life - because she believes her "dreams will come true".
She added to new! magazine: "My Plan B is non-existent. I've always wanted to be an actress and knew what I wanted to do from a young age.
"People ask, 'Do you have anything to fall back on?'
"And I say, 'No. You can't have a Plan B because you have to believe in your Plan A and you have to trust it will happen.'
"It's not arrogance, you will just have to believe your dreams will come true. It's what gives people passion and drive."
The 41-year-old star has played Priya Kotecha on the ITV soap since 2011, and the actress recently admitted she gets "very nervous" and "giggly" during love scenes on the ITV soap.
She said: "I get very nervous before romantic scenes. I'm giggly and girly.
"You might not have seen that person for a month and then you're kissing them."
