Ferne McCann is to take part in the next series of 'Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins'.
The 'First Time Mum' star has reportedly held a string of meetings with producers, who think the "gutsy" attitude she showed when she took part in the 2015 series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' would put her in good stead to tackle the tough Channel 4 competition.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "Ferne has been approached about taking part in the new series.
"She loves the idea of doing it, so things are looking promising.
"Producers saw how gutsy Ferne was on 'I’m A Celebrity...' a few years ago, so they think she’d be perfect for the show."
Fellow 'Only Way is Essex' star Pete Wicks is also tipped to take part, along with 'Love Island' winner Amber Gill, Olympian Jade Jones and boxer Shannon Courtenay.
The insider noted: "Producers want to get a really strong line-up for the new series. They need a good mix of stars.
"And, of course, they all need to have a good level of fitness.”
Filming is due to start later this year at a secret SAS military base in Jordan but the full line-up won't be revealed until early in 2022.
The show is due for a shake-up as former US Special Forces operator Rudy Reyes was recently appointed Chief Instructor after Ant Middleton was dropped over his "personal conduct".
Ex-US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke has also joined the programme as a new DS (Directing Staff) alongside existing stars Foxy (Jason Fox) and Billy (Mark Billingham).
Rudy - who was a team leader for over 50 patrols behind enemy lines - said: "To be part of 'SAS: Who Dares Wins' - the hardest selection course on television - is one the greatest privileges of my life.
"And to be named Chief Instructor is a huge honour - made even more rewarding working alongside Billy, Foxy and Remi - heroes on and off screen."
Remi - who joined the Navy in 2002 and later the elite Navy SEAL programme, serving for 13 years on active duty - added: "Since I departed from the military in 2016 my main focus in life has been to inspire, motivate and educate people - whether through writing, speaking or visual storytelling.
"Therefore, I am very grateful to the 'SAS: Who Dares Wins' team - especially my SOF brothers Billy, Foxy, Rudy - for allowing me to be a part of this unique, inspirational and transformative experience.
"And through this amazing show, I’m looking forward to playing a role in changing the lives of many “recruits” and viewers around the world."
