Ferne McCann has reportedly missed out on a new TV opportunity due to her links to attack suspect and ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins.
The 26-year-old star was reportedly in the running to feature in a new TV project, but her chances have been dashed because of the bad publicity stemming from her relationship with Collins, who was recently arrested in connection with an acid attack at a London nightclub.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She was in serious consideration for a new project but it's been dropped now. The general bad publicity about the case has meant it just wasn't the right time."
Ferne has stepped back from the spotlight ever since her ex-boyfriend was linked with the acid attack.
But Ferne - who is pregnant with Collins' baby - is set to return to 'This Morning' later today (11.05.17), when she will discuss the situation for the first time.
Ferne is a presenter on the ITV show, but has recently being spending time with friends in Ireland.
Prior to Collins' arrest, Ferne admitted she is always drawn to "mean boys".
The former 'Only Way is Essex' star doesn't think she's attracted to guys who are good for her - although she is keen to settle down and find true happiness.
Ferne said: "I am a true romantic, I really want to settle down. I'm always going for similar sorts of guys and it's just not working for me at the moment. I know what qualities I'm after but I never seem to go for those. I go for mean boys. I'm not confident when it comes to men."
