Ferne McCann once auditioned for 'The X Factor'.
The 'First Time Mum' star may have shot into the limelight when she bagged a role in 'The Only Way is Essex' in 2013, but she has admitted she once wished to be a pop princess and attempted to make her dreams come true by auditioning on the show.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "I auditioned for 'The X Factor' years ago but I never got through. I didn't even get to the stage where I got to meet Simon. I sang that song 'Fever' - but I didn't get through. I'm alright, I can hold a tune."
However, her dreams weren't completely shattered as the 27-year-old beauty did manage to land a role in the theatre production of 'Gatsby' in 2016.
Speaking about her stage gig, Ferne - who has six-month-old daughter Sunday - said: "I didn't go to stage school but I love new challenges and opportunities.
"I always wanted to be on the stage, even before I had my daughter Sunday. I always wanted to be in a West End musical - no dream is too big!"
But it looks like her aspirations of landing a part in a West End musical may need to be put on hold for the time being as the blonde beauty is so busy with her little girl.
She explained: "I have never been so busy. I thought work was going to slow down [after having Sunday] but no, I've never been so busy."
And it looks like more work may be coming her way as Ferne's show 'First Time Mum' returned to screens last night (02.05.18) for a full series and fans are loving it.
The 'This Morning' presenter initially agreed to document her pregnancy for the television project up until her baby's birth, but she was then asked to continue with a full second series this year as the ratings had been so high.
