Faye Brookes has signed up for 'Dancing on Ice'.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who played Kate Connor on the ITV soap - is said to have delighted bosses by joining the ice-skating show ahead of next year's new series.
A source told The Sun Online: "Faye will bring the glamour to the ice and 'DOI' bosses are over the moon she's chosen to put her skates on this year.
"With her top-class acting skills she's sure to impress the judges in the performance stakes."
Former 'Neighbours' stars past and present, Jason Donovan and Denise van Outen, are also said to have signed up for the programme, as has WAG Rebekah Vardy.
Earlier this month, Faye was said to be in a bidding war between 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'
A source said at the time: "Expect to see Faye Brookes in either 'I'm a Celeb' or 'Strictly'.
"'I'm a Celeb' will be a much bigger pay packet and better box office because fans will want to see her talk about her break-up from Gareth.
"But she might go for the glitz and glamour of 'Strictly' given her background in theatre."
In February, Faye admitted she had "absolutely loved being back on stage" in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
The actress - who has previously appeared on stage in the likes of 'Shrek', 'Grease' and 'Legally Blonde' - wrote on Instagram: "Honestly can't believe we've come to the end of our Panto run here @brumhippodrome...
"I have absolutely loved being back on stage as 'Snowy' but even more so I've loved being surrounded by the most unbelievable group of talented souls I've ever met... Thank you to everyone who made this journey one I'll never forget
"I'll treasure all of our memories... I pray we get to work with one another again soon... 'And That's That...' (sic)"
