The 32-year-old actress called it a “shock” to be expecting her second child after welcoming her daughter Coco five years ago with her ex-boyfriend Jack Molloy but has "missed" the feeling of expecting and actually thinks that the timing is "just right."
She told Closer magazine: "I'm so excited to be pregnant again. I feel like the timing is just right. I adored my bump last time with Coco, I've actually missed it."
She added that she has always longed for a “little team of babies” and hasn’t ruled out having another wee one with her new man - whose identity she has opted to keep secret - in the near future.
She said: "After this one, I'll be very happy, but I said to my partner 'Maybe we can squeeze another one in."
The 'Hollyoaks' star - who shot to fame as a teenager when she took on the role of gobby schoolgirl Janeece Bryant on BBC drama 'Waterloo Road' and later returned to the show for another stint as the school's secretary before making a guest appearance in the reboot earlier this year alongside Angela Griffin and Adam Thomas - is three months along in her openly unplanned pregnancy and gushed that she is “so excited” for the baby to arrive.
The former 'Casualty' actress first announced her happy news that she was having “another baba” and Coco’s long-standing dreams of being a big sister on her social media page.
She said on her Instagram page: "Baby Number 2. I am Not Sure me Or the world Is Ready For Another Coco! But WE are more than Ready.
"For as long as coco could talk she has asked for a Baby sister or Brother. Feel beyond blessed to be giving her her wish and being a mummy of 2 and I can’t wait to have another baba to Love unconditionally. We cannot wait to meet you Our Baby Love"(sic)
