Every 'Hollyoaks' on-screen cast member will appear in the soap's 25th birthday episode.

The Channel 4 soap will mark their milestone on Wednesday night (21.10.20) with a special episode on E4, which will feature the characters narrating a love letter from Yasmine Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) to boyfriend Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins), as she prepares to pop the question.

'Oaks' actors Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen), Nick Pickard (Tony Hutchinson), Kelle Bryan (Martine Deveraux), Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox), Stephanie Waring (Cindy Cunningham), Richard Blackwood (Felix Westwood), Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen) and Ashley Taylor Dawson (Darren Osborne), and many others, will all be heard narrating the emotional note.

The cast were filmed separately creating the iconic moment, and it is thought the message, despite just being addressed to Tom, could well resonate with the 'Hollyoaks' audience.

It's not yet known if Tom will accept Yazz's proposal, but one thing fans have been told is Kurt Benson (Jeremy Edwards) will return from the dead in the episode, after he was thought to have been killed in a jet ski accident in 1999.  

What's more, 'Hollyoaks' are hosting virtual birthday parties every night this week, as the soap celebrates 25 years on screen.

The show has been live streaming on their YouTube channel from The Loft set on a nightly basis, with different cast members taking part as they watch that evening's E4 episode from 7pm.

The celebration began on Monday night (19.10.20) with Andrea Ali (Celeste Faroe), Ross Adams (Scott Drinkwell-Deveraux) and Callum Kerr (PC George Kiss).
