Reece Dinsdale believes the 'Emmerdale' set is visited by the ghost of John Thaw.
The 60-year-old actor - who plays Paul Ashdale - admitted he can feel his late friend's presence while he's filming in the same building where they worked together on 1980s comedy 'Home To Roost'.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "Sometimes I walk down the corridors at the 'Emmerdale' studios and I just remember these were the same hallways where John and I walked 30 years ago while filming every episode of 'Home to Roost'.
"There are definitely ghosts. It feels like another lifetime. I'm losing so many fine friends and colleagues these days. So sad."
John played Reece's dad in the classic sitcom after becoming a household name in 1970s show 'The Sweeney', and later starring in 'Inspector Morse'.
He sadly passed away aged 60 in 2002, and his widow Sheila Hancock revealed he fought to the end.
At the time, she said: "The night before he died, he went round the garden and we had Lancashire hotpot. He was in good nick, he really was.
"But the fact is that John never, ever, took on board the fact he was dying.
"He just didn't want to know. He absolutely did not want to entertain the possibility that he wasn't going to get better."
'Coronation Street' star Beverley Callard has previously said she feels the presence of her late pal and co-star Anne Kirkbride on the cobbles.
She revealed: "I had been doing quite a lot of filming at the Barlows' set and it's a weird feeling. She was there in spirit. Her photos are on the shelves and you can't go on the set without saying: 'Oh, I hope you're here with me.' "
