Lucy Pargeter would love to "walk down the aisle".

The 'Emmerdale' actress - who plays Chas Dingle - recently broke up with on-screen partner Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) after their traumatic storyline in which their baby Grace was alive for just 20 minutes after being diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis. However, the 41-year-old ITV soap star has teased she'd love to say 'I do' and have a summer wedding where no one is jilted and the marriage lasts for more than "just a day".
Speaking to The Metro, Lucy said: "I'd like to have a Dingle wedding and walk down the aisle and not jilt someone or for it to last for just a day.
"But do it in the summer please, we do everything in winter and it's freezing cold. But we have got something else next year that isn't a wedding..."
This news comes as Paddy's former love interest, Mandy Dingle, has returned to the Dales with the news that she has a 16-year-old son called Vinnie.
While it is yet to be proven if the child is Paddy's, Chas lashes out because she feels threatened.
Dominic added: "Mandy says something, they have a little giggle and a little moment where they remember old times and just at that moment Chas turns up.
"He completely and utterly loves Chas and especially after what they've been through he doesn't want to lose her. Has a little flirt with Mandy and remembers they got on. But he would never do anything."
