Amy Walsh misses working with her "father figure" Michael Praed.
The 'Emmerdale' actress - who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the ITV soap - loved being on set with her co-star, and she was "devastated" when his character Frank Clayton was killed off.
She told Inside Soap magazine: "I loved Michael Praed, who played Tracy's dad Frank, he's a ball of crazy energy.
"He was such a good friend to me, and a father figure. Once he came to the garage with me and pumped my tyres up because I was poorly.
"He would bring me soup in a thermos flask to keep me warm. Michael is such a caring man, and I was devastated when he left the show. But we're still in touch and he's a friend for life."
Michael's character was killed off in August 2019 when Frank was rescuing his daughter Tracy from the Sharmas' factory after it caught fire.
Frank appeared to have rescued Tracy and escaped relatively unscathed from the burning building.
But as he was walking outside the factory a huge explosion sent him flying into a van and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
After the emotional scenes aired, Amy wrote on Instagram: "We will love and miss this gorgeous man more than he will ever know. A true gent. A true talent. A true performer/storyteller.
"He treated me like a real life daughter and I love him to bits. What an exit! The @emmerdale building will never be the same without you Michael Praed...Michael Praed (sic)"
Michael - who has also starred in the likes of 'Dynasty' and 'Robin of Sherwood' throughout his illustrious career - thanked fans for their support.
At the time, he said: "Sadly, it’s the demise of young Frank. I would just like to thank all you guys for your support, and I hope you continue to love the show as much as I do and all the people in it.”
