'Emmerdale' bosses have confirmed at least one character will meet their maker later this month.
The villagers are set to be rocked as killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) looks set to take another victim during one of the "most gripping and thrilling weeks" in the ITV soap's history.
Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks said: "This is 'Emmerdale' at its most ambitious as we take viewers on an exhilarating journey through a series of show-stopping stunts.
"As the twists and turns come thick and fast, viewers will be left on the edge of their seats, and with Meena at the heart of the story it means only one thing; not all our villagers will survive.
"Daring and audacious; this is Emmerdale like you've never seen before."
A video teaser sees Meena dressed as the grim reaper in a maze, where several villagers are desperately trying to escape.
At the end of the promo, she smirks and chillingly says: "There's no way out."
Meena has history after she already bumped off Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) when she pushed the teen to her death over a humpbacked bridge in July.
Following her exit, Mimi said: "I am glad that the secret is out - I knew back in December that Leanna would meet an untimely death but I wasn’t told any other details until just before the scripts were published.
"It has been hard not to let on to anyone. I am sad to be leaving the 'Emmerdale' family on one hand but so excited by what may be in store in the future - I am so excited by the storyline and the opportunity that I have been given to bring some drama to the Dales.
"It has been so difficult to keep the secret - of my decision to leave 'Emmerdale' to pursue other opportunities, but also the secret of my demise. I am quite good at keeping secrets generally but this has been particularly tricky because so many people do ask me frequently about my plans for the future."
