The 'Doctors' actress admitted in August she had been experiencing coronavirus symptoms, including shortness of breath and chest pains, for six months, and now a further six months on, she feels "much the same" and has been left "really frustrated" by her condition.
She said: "I'm much the same, this is the frustrating part of it all.
"You still have some good days, some bad days, but I'm still massively affected by long COVID and I'm really frustrated by it.
"Nobody really knows because they don't know about long COVID."
While the 'Dynasty' star admitted she is fortunate not to have had a "much worse experience with COVID", she may have to take to her bed for three days as a result of speaking out today (12.02.21).
Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', she added: "I'm aware I could've had a much worse experience with COVID, so even for me to have long COVID is better than someone who has little kids.
"I couldn't imagine looking after little kids and feeling this way."
Speaking to Emma, 'GMB' presenter Kate Garraway said: "I know you said that even talking to us and having to get up this morning might mean you would have to take to your bed for three days, so thank you for doing that.
"We wish you rest and some kind of recovery soon."
In August, the 60-year-old actress admitted she could do some gardening but would be "wiped out" the next day.
She said: "I kept thinking, 'They're saying two weeks and I will feel better.' But I just didn't.
"There would be a good day and I would get back out in the garden and try to do some gardening, and then the next day I would be wiped out.
"I want to stress I'm still one of the very lucky ones. I wasn't hospitalised and in the ITU.
"It's just frustrating that there's not much awareness out there in the public and in the medical world about what long COVID is.
"Doctors have not known about it.
"I'm assuming eventually I will get better, but nobody knows."
