Emily Symons feels "so proud" to have been a part of 'Emmerdale'.
The 'Home and Away' legend appeared as Louise Appleton on the ITV soap from 2001 to 2008, and the 51-year-old actress enjoyed her time living in the UK and made some "wonderful friends" on the show.
When asked if she has fond memories of the UK, Emily said: "How beautiful it was to be able to work in the Yorkshire Dales.
"We grew up watching 'All Creatures Great and Small', so that was a thrill for me.
"I loved my time living there. I made wonderful friends and had wonderful experiences.
"There are so many incredible actors on 'Emmerdale'. I'm so proud I was part of it."
Emily is still in touch with her former co-star Charley Webb (Debbie Dingle), and she is looking forward to visiting the UK once again.
Quizzed on whether she speaks to any of her former co-stars, she added to Inside Soap magazine: "Yes, Charley Webb and I chit-chat every day.
"We chat on WhatsApp I love her.
"I know there won't be any flying for a long time, but I'd love to get back to England at some point. I haven't visited since 2014 and it would be a joy to come back."
In April, Emily admitted she misses her former co-stars and the "special" camaraderie on the set.
She said: "We had a great social life on 'Emmerdale'.
"I made so many wonderful friends up there and I do miss that aspect. The camaraderie is very special."
