Emily Atack has been told to "lose weight" to gain certain TV roles.
The 28-year-old actress is most known playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe in 'The Inbetweeners' and is currently appearing on ITV reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here', but has said she's been to auditions in the past where she's been asked to "go to the gym" in order to change her body.
She said: "There have been auditions where they've said nicely, 'Would you be willing to go to the gym for this role?', I find it so hard to lose weight, it takes me weeks and weeks of dieting and training just to lose three pounds."
Emily is constantly on camera whilst in the Australian jungle, and says learning to be comfortable with her body is something she's always believed in.
She added: "I'm on camera all the time so being body confident is important. I'm a believer in feeling good in your skin so I put bikini pics on my Instagram.
"I definitely feel the pressure to lose weight and be smaller than I am. I wouldn't leave the house without my make-up on."
The actress believes she'd be happy with how she looks in "a normal world", but the pressure of the film industry makes her concerned about her weight.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column before heading into the jungle, she said: "In a normal world I would be happy with my body, but in the film industry it's pressurised. I would like to see curvier women playing lead roles, I got a lot of sexy roles when I was younger.
"My issue is that I love eating and I love wine. Going out for dinner and drinking wine with my friends is my favourite thing to do.
"There are some weeks that I think, 'I should lay off the wine this week because I've got a film premiere'. Ultimately I will never cut anything out of my life that makes me happy."
