The 29-year-old actress and her co-host have been rumoured to be stepping in for the jungle spin off after both Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash announced they are leaving, and while she's keeping coy about the future she thinks their ITV2 dating show is a way for bosses to see if she "could do it".

She told RadioTimes.com: "The lovely thing is, is that everyone's allowing me to dip my toe in lots of different things and allowing me to learn.

"I'm so flattered about the 'Extra Camp' rumours that anyone would think I'm half decent enough to fill those shoes.

"I love hosting and I've enjoyed a lot of it since leaving the jungle. Essentially, me hosting 'Singletown', it's a test to see if I could do it."

And the 'Inbetweeners' star revealed she feels a "real natural chemistry" with Joel, and they have become "really good mates".

She added: "Working with Joel feels so normal and natural. We get on so well and we've become really good mates really quickly.

"There's a real natural chemistry there and it's absolutely great working with him, I absolutely love it."

'Singletown' launches tonight (03.09.19) on ITV2 as the show sees five couples move to London and split to date new people before choosing between single life or going back to their partner.

Emily recently admitted she and Joel, 34, became "very protective" over the contestants.

She said: "I think me and Joel made good mentors as we could talk them through the dos and don'ts of a break-up, because a break-up is the hardest thing in the world.

"We're kind of their pals, essentially, getting them to feel good about themselves again, getting them dressed up and sending them on a date. We're like wingmen, really!"
