Emily Atack is set to appear on the new series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The 28-year-old actress made her name in comedy series 'The Inbetweeners' and has gone on to star in a string of movies, but now wants to return to TV so reportedly hopes the tough jungle contest will be the perfect springboard to land her a regular role on the small screen.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "'I'm A Celeb' approached Emily a while ago and she jumped at the chance.
"She is fed up of doing indie movies and wants some stability in the UK with a big telly gig with lots of coverage.
"She knows being on the show will massively up her profile and hopes it will be a major turning point for her career.
"Bosses are thrilled she is on board because she's absolutely stunning
"They are hoping she will be this year's bikini babe to recreate Myleene Klass's iconic shower in the camp waterfall from the 2006 series."
However, a spokesperson for the show refused to confirm whether the 'Patrick' actress will be flying out to Australia in November.
They said: "Any names at this stage are speculation."
If Emily does land a place in the jungle, it could take her a step closer to getting a role in 'EastEnders', as she revealed earlier this week she'd like to star on the soap.
She said: "I'd never rule out [joining a soap]. I've done a lot of film, so I'd like to get back into television.
"If I was to do one, I'd love to do 'EastEnders'. I could play a new naughty Mitchell sister."
The 28-year-old actress' former 'Inbetweeners' co-star Emily Head can currently be seen in 'Emmerdale', and Emily couldn't be happier that her friend is doing so well.
She said: "Emily is a lovely girl so I was really happy for her.
"She really deserves it. I haven't stayed in touch with her but if we ever bump into each other we get on really well."
