Emily Atack is to speak out about sexual harassment in a new BBC documentary.
The 32-year-old star will open about sex pests targeting her from a young age in the new BBC Two film as she tries to understand why she is sexually harassed online on a daily basis.
The programme, titled 'Emily Atack: Sexual Harassment and Me', will see 'The Inbetweeners' star talking to her family - including her comedy star mother Kate Robbins - about her unwanted sexual attention and her attempts to chat to some of the men sending her explicit messages to understand the reasons behind their behaviour.
Emily said: "With this documentary, I am hoping to find answers to the many questions I've been asking myself for my entire life, and I hope that it will go on to help thousands of others too."
The former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' contestant described the new documentary as "incredibly close to her heart".
Emily, who has spoken about her horrific ordeal in Parliament, said: "Over the last two and half years I've been speaking out about my own personal experiences of online sexual harassment. Within that time, one thing has become clear, I'm not alone."
A source revealed that Emily is determined to do the issue "justice" in the film.
A TV insider told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "This is a massive career moment for Emily. Not only has she spearheaded an important movement, but the BBC are investing a lot in her.
"She's taking the role very seriously and wants to do it justice, she's revealing a lot about herself too, but knows it could help a lot of people suffering."
