Emile John wants Viola Davis to play his mum in 'Emmerdale'.
The soap star - who joined the ITV show in January - would love for Ethan Anderson's mother to be an on-screen character, and he is keen for the 'How To Get Away With Murder' actress to take on the part.
Asked if he'd like Ethan's mum to come to the village, he told Inside Soap magazine: "Yes, that would be the best thing ever! It would bring a whole new dimension to Ethan and Charles' characters, and probably their relationship as well.
"I get the feeling there's unfinished business between them all, so that would definitely open up some wounds.
"Who would I get to play my mum? I'm going to be ambitious and say Viola Davis! She might be a bit busy, but I can dream."
Last year, Viola made her final appearance as Annalise Keating in the last season of 'How To Get Away With Murder', while she received high praise for her role in 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom'.
In 2021, she'll star in 'The Suicide Squad', and she's working on 'The First Lady', in which she'll appear as Michelle Obama.
For Emile, he also has other projects on the go away from 'Emmerdale', as he is planning to release his own music.
He said: "Yes, somewhere in the near future I plan to release music on to a streaming platform.
"I'm currently in the studio with a friend, who is also up and coming in the music industry, and we're just been bouncing ideas off each other.
"So watch this space!"
Emile also named 'Love Island' as his guilty pleasure and noted how his opinion on reality TV has changed.
He said: "For a long time I was a reality TV snob, but when it comes to 'Love Island', I can't get enough!
"It's sad, but I really felt its absence last year. The people on there are about my age, and the way they behave is probably the way my mates would act on a night out."
