Elliott Wright has temporarily closed his Costa del Sol restaurant "out of respect" after a doorman was killed.
The former 'The Only Way is Essex' star owns Olivia's La Cala near Marbella, but the eatery has been shut for two days following the death of Jose Rafael Pisano Pardo, 55, who died after he was knocked unconscious after intervening in a fight.
A statement from Olivia's read: "This weekend we lost a much loved and valued member of our team.
"Our hearts are broken and we have closed the restaurant today and tomorrow out of respect.
"We are supporting our staff and the family whilst awaiting news of further investigations."
Father-of-two Jose died in hospital in Malaga on Sunday (17.04.23).
In April 2021, Elliott, 43, was also left devastated when his restaurant burned to the ground in a devastating fire, leading to it being rebuilt.
According to The Sun newspaper, a suspected arson attack is still being investigated and hasn't led to any arrests.
The fire occurred just a month after Elliott’s father, Edward Wright, passed away following a battle with COVID-19.
The reality star - who is also the cousin of Mark Wright - took to social media at the time to say he was “simply devastated” by the news, and said he would be a “very happy soul” if he could be “half the man” his father was.
In part of a length post, he wrote: “It is with heart wrenching regret, that I have to post this post, my father Edward George Wright passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the 02.03.2021 after bravely fighting Covid for 8 weeks...
“The legacy and mark you leave is colossal, put simply if I could be half the man you were, when my time finally comes.. i would go a very happy soul. I love you dad, the hole you leave is monumental but the memories I will cherish for ever. I know you will be watching over me an the kids, I hope I continue to make you proud, Rest in peace dad. See you at the gates when the time comes. I Love you, with all my Heart (sic)”
