Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu mysteriously pulled out of her 'Lorraine' interview on Monday (18.03.24) morning.
The 29-year-old reality star - who shot to fame as the winner of 'Love Island' in 2022 - had been taking part in the hit ITV1 series 'Celebrity Big Brother' but was evicted from the house on Friday night and then failed to appear for a chat with Lorraine Kelly on her self-titled morning chat show after the weekend.
During a promo segment for 'Lorraine' led by Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on 'Good Morning Britain', Susanna said: "Lorraine is here at nine, now Lorraine, we thought you might have Ekin-Su on the programme..."
Lorraine replied: "So did I! But alas, no. I don’t know what’s happened."
The daytime TV legend noted that former 'Dancing On Ice' contestant Ekin had seemed unhappy with the way she came across in the final edit of the programme and mentioned her ill-fated appearance on 'Late and Live' that took place immediately after her eviction.
Lorraine added: "You know how you think, Oh they’re not happy but they’re just putting it on a bit?
“She genuinely was not a pleased and happy woman, interesting."
During her interview on 'Late and Live', Ekin-Su was discussing her fallout with West End star Marisha Wallace when she told panellist Layton Williams: "You haven't seen everything they have cut stuff out but ok."
Layton replied: "Don't blame it on the edit, one thing we are not going to do is blame it on the edit.
'We're not blaming it on the edit girl. We see what we see and it was just a shame, it was a big shame."
