Jack Derges is set for soap return in 'Doctors'.
The former 'EastEnders' actor - who played builder Andy Flynn in Albert Square - has been lined up for another BBC role as he is set to make his debut as new alter ego Enzo.
According to Inside Soap, the character will be around for several weeks and should make an impact on the show as he is "set to bring a bit of sauciness to one of the 'Doctors# regulars".
Jack spent just six months on air in 'EastEnders' after arriving in Walford to find Ronnie Mitchell and avenge the death of his sister - and her daughter - Danielle.
He left the soap after the storyline came to an end, and he later thanked then-producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins and described his time in the cast as a "dream job".
He tweeted at the time: "Quality six months on #EastEnders. The most welcoming cast I've ever worked with. Dream job! Thanks @dominictc for getting me involved X"
When he left, a spokesperson for the show added that the team wished him "all the best" following his stint, which was only ever intended to be a brief run.
They added: "The character of Andy was created for a specific storyline which is currently coming to the end.
"We wish Jack all the best for the future."
Since then, the actor has starred on the West End in 'The Boys in the Band', and also had a guest spot in 'Casualty' in 2018 when he played Alan Marsh.
