Ed Westwick has landed himself a new role, as the latest star to join the cast of ABC pilot LA Crime.

The true crime drama comes from Steven Baigelman and centres on the LAPD's search for a pair of Bonnie and Clyde-esque serial killers in the 1980s.
According to TV Line, Westwick will play the male half of the serial killing duo and appear alongside Erika Christensen who'll play his partner.
Taissa Farmiga was previously cast in the show as an aspiring journalist who's covering the murders, whilst both Gabriel Luna and Adam Rothenberg will step into the shoes of the detectives on the case.
LA Crime is expected to begin production next week in Los Angeles, with Tom Shankland as director following his work on Jericho, The Missing and Ripper Street.
