'EastEnders' actress Rukku Nahar wants to launch a music career.
The 23-year-old actress - who portrays Habiba Ahmed in the BBC One soap - loves to sing and after being encouraged by her family and co-star Priya Davdra, who plays her on-screen sister Iqra Ahmed, wants to do something more serious with her talent.
In an interview with Inside Soap magazine, she said: "I love to sing, and I'm currently working on pursuing it a bit more.
"My family has always encouraged me, and Priya, who plays Iqra, has heard my voice and says that I've absolutely got to do something with it. So hopefully you'll get to hear me soon!"
Rukku also admitted that she wants to follow in the footsteps of her co-star Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell, and compete on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
She said: "I love 'Strictly Come Dancing', and it's great to see Emma doing such an amazing job on there. I would love to be on it myself. I wouldn't mind which professional partner I was paired with, because I think everyone on the show is so incredibly talented."
Rukku also gave her prediction for the 'Strictly' special for 'Children In Need', which will air next Friday (15.11.19) and feature members of the 'EastEnders' cast.
She said: "I think my money's on Ricky Champ (Stuart Highway) - he's full of enthusiasm, and he'll do a great job!"
