EastEnders' Peter Beale will make his move on Lola Pearce.
The market-stall holder - played by Ben Hardy - finds himself getting close to the mother-of-one (Danielle Harold) in coming weeks after he discovers his new-found confidence with the ladies since returning to the square earlier in the year.
Speaking to InsideSoap magazine, Ben said: "It'll be fun to see Peter have a bit of romance in his life. He's more confident since he came back from Devon, and I can't wait for him to dabble with the ladies a bit. He's keen on Lola - and I really like doing scenes with Danielle Harold. She's such a good actress.
"I think Peter quite likes that they are from different worlds. It doesn't bother him that she's got a child. Peter's only 19, and doesn't think too deeply about things. All he knows is that he likes Lola and she's really pretty!"
However, the hunky actor admits he isn't as confident in real life and feels immense pressure to look good at all times because everyone recognises him.
He explained: "It can be annoying when you just want to run to the shop, but you've got bed hair. I like to have alone time, and it can be daunting to know you'll be recognised. But at the same time, I know how lucky I am!"
