Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are set to return to 'This Morning'.
The married couple - who left their regular Friday hosting slot on the ITV daytime show in December - will fill in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during their half-term break from Monday (15.02.21).
A bumper ad on Wednesday's episode confirmed Ruth and Eamonn - who are the regular presenters during school holidays - will present all five shows during the week.
It comes after the pair were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary for their Friday slot after the Alison hosted a successful one-off show in October.
The 46-year-old reporter called all the shots as she was able to decide on the topics and items of the day, and be in the gallery giving her unique style of guidance to the team.
She said at the time: “It will just be a joy! There will be nothing about lockdown or coronavirus. There’ll be a lot of recipes and food … and maybe a little bit of fashion and fun. It’s going to be great and I’m excited to be the boss!"
Meanwhile, Eamonn was reportedly said to be furious with the decision to axe them from his regular slot.
A source said: "They have real warmth. It's time for a change and they are perfect. Eamonn is pretty furious and everyone feels for him and Ruth, they are well liked on the team, but sometimes tough decisions have to be made."
However, Eamonn later shared a message on social media to thank their fans for their support.
He wrote: "Hello there everyone, just want to say something to you all from the bottom of my heart... and that is thank you.
"Ruth and I have been absolutely overwhelmed yesterday and today by the amount of messages. Could I just generally say... thank you, thank you, thank you! We do feel the love, really appreciate it, but stop it, stop it now!"
