Eamonn Holmes attempted to arrange an interview with Queen Elizabeth when he collected his OBE earlier today (01.06.18).
The 'This Morning' co-host headed to Buckingham Palace alongside wife and fellow presenter Ruth Langsford for the special investiture ceremony, and he cheekily used the opportunity to hint to the 92-year-old monarch that he should have a sit down chat with her in the near future.
Speaking about the ceremony, he said: "It was very classy.
"She said to me, 'You must meet a lot of interesting people?' And I said, 'Yes I do,' and I thought, 'Please don't bring up the man with the three penises at this stage.'
"I said, 'In fact, ma'am, I've interviewed almost everyone in your family except you, so you've got to put that straight. I've got to get the interview.'
"And she went, 'Ha ha ha,' and that was the end of that."
Ruth admitted Eamonn - who she has 16-year-old son Jack with - was feeling "nervous" before collecting the prestigious honour, and she heaped praise on her husband following the "wonderful" event.
She said: "It was very emotional. Eamonn looked a bit nervous actually when he was waiting."
Eamonn said: "I suppose I was."
Speaking in a joint interview on 'This Morning', Ruth added: "I definitely had a tear in my eye. It was a very proud moment for all of us, but mostly for Eamonn.
"All those years of broadcasting and nobody deserves it more.
"It was amazing because the queen speaks to every single person. It was wonderful."
