Eamonn Holmes has nicknamed his wife Ruth Langsford his "little turkey neck."
The 'This Morning' host landed himself in hot water today (02.03.18) after he admitted to the nation during the cooking segment with Irish chef Donal Skehan - who was cooking chicken dumpling soup - that he has a cheeky pet name for his spouse.
Speaking to Donal, he said: "I wish you'd stop saying that cause that's my pet name for Ruth, my little chicken dumpling, my little turkey neck."
Noticing Ruth's face, Donal replied: "You're being very brave!!"
But a red-faced Ruth managed to laugh off the naughty revelation and joked that he's not usually that "brave" at home because she does all the cooking.
She quipped: "Don't worry he's very brave at work, not at home, and remember I do all the cooking at home."
This isn't the first time Eamonn has pushed his luck as he continuously made fun of her moves when she was competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' last year.
He said at the time: "The chances of her winning are nil.
"I say to her, 'Are you OK? You look exhausted. Is it not time to step away?'
"She is enjoying proving things to herself. I think she loves it. The house can be lonely. I work longish hours and when I come home I think 'Where is Ruthie?' She's not there. I have the dog though. She's very good, lies on her back and rolls over."
Meanwhile, there will no doubt be some more squabbling between them as the pair have reportedly landed their own weekly show on Channel 5.
A source said recently: "Eamonn and Ruth are a top presenting team so it's no surprise there's plenty of interest from TV producers. The show is at the pilot stage but there's confidence within Channel 5 that it will become a full series. It's an exciting time."
