Stranger Things was a fantastic Netflix original series that really took the world by storm.
In a new interview with IGN, creators Matt and Ross Duffer explained that the show's second season would "draw influence from a lot of [1984] cinema."
Matt explained: "1984 was a f**king amazing year, especially the movies that came out in the summer of 1984.
"It was an awesome year for cinema, so we're trying, hopefully, to capture a little bit of the magic of those films. Something like Temple of Doom. I actually really love Temple of Doom, I love that it gets a little darker and weirder from Raiders."
He also said the second season will feel "very different" and he's "sure that a lot of people are going to prefer season one."
Chatting about how the show would eventually end, Matt explained how he and his brother want to get to the end "in a believable way".
"It's just us figuring out how many episodes and potential seasons we need to tell that story. That's the goal and the hope, and it's really, really difficult. But hopefully we get there."
You can watch season one of Stranger Things exclusively on Netflix.
