The cast of Downton Abbey will guest star in Disney show Doc McStuffins.

Stars of the ITV1 period drama including Matt Milne and Joanne Froggatt have lent their voices to the animated show.

Telling the story of young girl Doc who runs a clinic for stuffed animals and toys out of her backyard playhouse, the show encourages kids to dream as she has aspirations to become a doctor like her mother.

The toys in the show will travel back to 19th Century England for the extended length episode, meeting a young Florence Nightingale and helping her realise her own dreams.

The episode is to feature an original song - 'Love What You Do' - and premiere this December in the UK on Disney Junior.
