Dominic Brunt believes his 'Emmerdale' character Paddy Kirk would love hair tablets for Christmas.
The 50-year-old actor has joked it would be great if his alter-ego was gifted some tablets to make his locks grow back, because it would be lovely for the vet to be able to wake up on Boxing Day (26.12.20) with a thick head of hair.
He said: "I've no idea what Paddy would want - probably a pair of socks.
"Actually, some hair tablets! He could wake up on Boxing Day and he's got some really thick, knitted, curly, Italian hair that he can just push back."
But he joked: "A wig will do."
Dominic is looking forward to having a close family Christmas, and joked he spends the festive period "trying not to drink too heavily" during the day.
Speaking before the latest coronavirus restrictions were announced, he added: "We usually have Christmas as close family, and then on Boxing Day we have all the lunatics come over and play games, and we sit by the fire trying not to drink too heavily during the day for two weeks."
Dominic has played Paddy on the ITV soap since 1997, but recently admitted he sometimes feels strange watching clips of his early work because he has no recollection of acting such scenes out.
He said: "I've seen some scenes that I don't remember at all!
"It's strange as I can see myself walking and talking on screen, but I have no memory of it whatsoever. It's like having a false memory.
"I saw a scene where I walked into the vets' and was like, 'I know it's me, I can see it's me, but I can't recall this for the life of me!' It's very odd!"
