Dom Joly has gone to Hong Kong for Christmas.
The 46-year-old comedian has taken his family to the Chinese region over the festive season to get "as far away as possible" from the celebrations in the UK.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm going to Hong Kong for the festive period, so I'm going to get as far away from it as possible.
"I've never been to Hong Kong for Christmas and I have a friend out there, probably the last person I know who is a merchant banker and hasn't been fired, and he has a big house out there so I'm going to visit him because he's clearly not going to make it throughout the year.
"I'm going to take him for everything I've got - get him back for all this debt!"
The 'Fool Britannia' star admits he loves the festive period for several reasons but mainly because he can dress up as Father Christmas and shock people by being a rude Santa Claus.
He added: "I love Father Christmas as a character. I did one in 'Trigger Happy' where he was shoplifting and I did another one where he was writing 'F**k Christmas' on a side of a motorway carriage.
"I just really like him as a character because he's one of characters who everyone knows how he should behave so they are shocked when they see him behaving differently.
"It's like 'Bad Santa', I love that film. It's my favourite Christmas film."
