Disney+ Day this year (2021) will be the second anniversary of the immensely popular streaming service, Disney+, which offers a vast collection of TV shows, movies, documentaries and more, as well as iconic franchises such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and The Simpsons.
The Disney+ Day celebration, which takes place on November 12th, 2021, is edging closer and closer every day; it will be filled with bonus content, sales and much, much more!
The festivities are heading to the iconic town of Springfield in the brand-new short, The Simpsons in Plusaversary!, which sees the beloved family, The Simpsons, host a Disney+ Day party where everyone is on the list... well, everyone except Homer.
The new short will debut on Disney+ Day, and is already set to be a hilarious short film in which Homer is excluded from the celebrations of this exciting day, which is only ten days away from today (November 3rd, 2021)!
Everyone knows The Simpsons, whether you’re a fan or not, and those who have watched them for years will definitely be excited for more content from one of the best TV families.
The show is the longest-running primetime scripted show in TV history; The Simpsons became a cultural phenomenon in 1990, and is still one of the most creative and ground-breaking franchises out there.
The Simpsons is currently on its 32nd season, and has won 35 Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards, 9 Environmental Media Awards, 7 People’s Choice Awards, and 13 Writers Guild of America Awards.
The upcoming Disney+ Day event will be a global celebration which will light up across all areas of the company. Subscribers to Disney+ will have access to new, exciting content across beloved brands such as Marvel and Star Wars.
Fans will be granted access to a unique presentation on the streaming service, with sneak peaks at what will be coming in the months ahead.
In honor of the second anniversary of Disney+, subscribers will receive access to promotions and experiences; Disney Parks and Resorts around the world, as well as Disney Cruise Line, will be rolling out the blue carpet.
The Simpsons in Plusaversary! will premiere on Disney+ Day, which takes place on November 12th, 2021.
