Dianne Buswell will never forget her first dance on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.The 31-year-old professional dancer joined the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition four years ago, and has said the “most special moment” from her time on the show has been her very first dance, when she took to the stage alongside Amy Dowden and Nadiya Bychkova, who were also new dancers. She said: "I think the most special moment ever for me was when me, Amy and Nadiya first were introduced and did our first dance as the new professionals on the show. "I don't think I'll ever forget that feeling, so if I could go back and do one again and feel the same emotion, I would go straight back to there. I was thinking, 'This is a new adventure for me, I'm so excited to be here, I'm so grateful for it all.' I just took it all in.“The three of us felt like real new kids on the block and it was such a special moment and just very surreal at the same time.”Dianne also credits her boyfriend, Joe Sugg, with contributing to some of her most memorable moments. The pair met on the series in 2018 when they were paired together, and went on to finish in second place. She added: "There were some moments in there that were obviously really special to me, like Blackpool and watching back the Quickstep I did with Joe. That was the first time that we got a ten and that I'd ever gotten a ten on the show!”The dancer also spoke about competing alongside Reverend Richard Coles, as she admitted being kicked from the show early is “never fun”, but she still had a “special” time with the musician.Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "Then there were moments where me and Rev left the show, but that was still really special. Even the tougher moments are still so special on ‘Strictly’, but leaving the show is never fun.”
