Credit: TLCDevious Maids actress Ana Ortiz - who plays Marisol - may have let slip that Eva Longoria is to join the cast in a guest role as her much-loved character Gabrielle Solis.
Responding to a question about Marc Cherry writing a part for Eva in the show, Ana said: "We are all hoping so, that is the word, but we don't know what it will be. Some people have mentioned that it might be Gaby, her character from Desperate Housewives to come back and visit. It would become interesting for her to go back to Gaby because I know she really loved that character but we’re just hoping that she comes on soon! We (the main cast) actually want her to be a maid! I think it will be great to see Eva Longoria as a maid, in high heels of course.”
As acting executive producer for the series, Eva makes her TV directorial debut with episode one of the new season titled 'An Ideal Husband'.
