Simon Cowell will poke fun at Dermot O'Leary in a musical based on The X Factor.
The show boss will mock the host in 'I Can't Sing', which is written by Harry Hill and co-produced by Simon, by depicting him as needy loser Liam O'Deary, who is obsessed with hugging strangers.
A show source said: "Liam O'Deary is the very affectionate host of the show who is prone to long hugs with people he doesn't know and not afraid to demand an embrace if one is not forthcoming.
"Obviously any similarities with Dermot are, er, completely coincidental.
"We'll let people draw their own conclusions. And if Dermot thinks it's him, I'm sure he'll see the funny side."
Simon Bailey will play the role and will get his own track called 'The Hugging Song', which includes lyrics such as "I Love Hugging People I Don't Know ... And the only time I really feel safe and secure in myself is when I get that real, special hug that you only can get from a stranger."
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Dermot said: "I think it sounds very funny. I can't wait to see just how good Liam's hugging game is!"
