Denise Welch is the latest member of the 'Loose Women' panel to bow out of the show, stating she was unhappy with the direction the show was now taking.
After 10 years on the panel, the former actress has decided it's time to go following disagreements with Helen Warner - the new boss.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Yes, I've quit. I was hurt that changes were made and kept a secret, and that the person responsible for the decisions hadn't come and talked to me about it.
"She must have known how I felt. When you have invested 10 years in a job our views should mean something and our feelings should be taken into account.
"Every show needs a shake-up. but the way the show's been going I've felt that my wings have been clipped. Fundamentally the fun of the show is what made it for me, and I feel the way it's going is losing the fun of it."
The 55-year-old star held a meeting with her boss after hearing about several changes, and had told her husband Lincoln Townley she felt it was her time to leave.
She added: "At the beginning of this series I'd said to Lincoln I had this feeling in my waters that it's time for me to go.
"I've had it twice before - once was at 'Coronation Street' and the other was at 'Waterloo Road'.
"I became unhappy with work. It started to make me feel a bit ill, a feeling of, 'I don't want to be here any more.' "
The future could see Denise make a return to her acting career after she insisted she needs to "remind people" of her previous success.
She explained: "People forget I'm an award-winning actress. It's important to me that I remind people of that."
