Denise Welch has teased 'Hollyoaks' fans they will see "the other side" of her character Trish Minniver soon.
The 62-year-old actress' alter-ego is to create her own dance studio in the village, but Denise has admitted this will lead to viewers seeing Trish in a different light as she "rules it with a rod of iron".
Denise said: "Trish is a dance teacher but she will get her very own dance school.
"Then you start seeing the other side of Trish.
"She's teaching adults and children alike, and she rules it with a rod of iron, should we say."
Elsewhere in the village, Eva O'Hara's character Verity Hutchinson digs a hole for herself as she lies to boyfriend Sami Maalik (Rishi Nair) about being pregnant with his child, in order to keep Diane Hutchinson's (Alex Fletcher) real pregnancy a secret from Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard).
But Verity is set to go deeper and deeper into the lie, and the scenes have been breaking Eva's heart.
Speaking in a video to celebrate 'Hollyoaks' returning to five nights a week, she said: "It's getting pretty horrific.
"Verity is covering for Diane's pregnancy. We're not sure if it's my dad's baby or Tony's baby.
"Until then I've said I will cover for her and say I'm pregnant myself.
"Unfortunately, we start to see the lovely Sami getting really attached to the idea of having a little Verity-Sami family.
"I cannot wait for you guys to see these scenes. They've been breaking my own heart."
What's more, in upcoming scenes, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) look set to grow close as they team up to help Sid Sumner (Billy Price) take down the County Lines run.
Summer Ranger (Rhiannon Clements) is to find out about Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) affair with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas), putting her engagement to Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) in doubt, and Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) has to decide whether to leave the village with her scheming boyfriend Seth Costello (Miles Higson) or stay and make things right with her McQueen family.
