Denise Welch believes the 'Loose Women' ladies have "got carers" in their younger lovers.
The 55-year-old TV star - who is set to marry Lincoln Townley, 15 years her junior, this month - has joked that many of the ITV daytime show's panellists are dating younger men so they can take care of them in their old age.
Speaking to Hello magazine, she said: "There is 15 years between Carol [Vorderman] and Duffy [Graham Duff], 22 years between Carol [McGiffin] and Mark [Cassidy] and 17 years between Shobna [Gulati] and Anthony [Brown]. So basically we say what we've done is we've made sure we've all got carers! They've gravitated to us, you know."
The actress can't wait to invite her colleagues to her wedding in Portugal, but she admits she never thought she would marry again following the end of her 24-year marriage to 'Benidorm' actor Tim Healy.
Denise - who was also briefly married to actor David Easter in the 1980s - said: "Believe me, there was no way I ever thought I would get married for a third time after coming out of a 24-year marriage. But I think it helped that my marriage to Tim didn't end badly. I have great memories and we had more happy years than sad years and two wonderful children."
